Two new opportunities for engagement with The Digital Engineering and Test Centre (DETC) are on the horizon, open to both the centre’s current affiliates and new organisations. Current opportunities include:
The DETC has a number of funded collaborative project opportunities, including the potential development of an open source multi-objective optimisation environment.
The objective is to create a consortium of organisations, ranging from large OEM’s and Tier 1’s to SME’s and academia, that will collaborate to generate a multi-objective optimisation tool. This state-of-the-art optimisation tool is intended to be open source, with the functionality and usability made accessible to the non-expert.
This project will fall in line with the DETC LITE funding call, with more details available here.

The potential of Blockchain in automotive applications will be explored in a workshop led by the DETC in collaboration with the Hartree Centre.
Experts will introduce the fundamentals behind Blockchain and then be available to advise on potential collaborative projects and available funding for collaborative initiatives in this area. Time will be available for attendees to network and discuss the upcoming challenges and opportunities provided by blockchain technologies and their impact on the automotive and digital industries.
Workshops open the possibility of high value cross sector knowledge sharing, that may lead to further projects and activities with the DETC.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to take part in this workshop.
